AccessPlus has a tremendous local and industry footprint. The company’s infrastructure, combined with parent company RingSquared’s backbone network and recently acquired Crocker Communications Inc., is widely expansive in Massachusetts and beyond.
Currently, AccessPlus’ fiber internet infrastructure spans several high-density city centers in the Berkshires, as well as New York’s Capital District, through Block Island, Rhode Island, and Nantucket, Massachusetts. The Power of Local Partnership Expansions: AccessPlus & Crocker Communications, Inc.
AccessPlus already providing service throughout the Northeast joined the RingSquared group of brands, which includes previous organization Cornerstone Communications’ serving clients in New York and Massachusetts. AccessPlus joined RingSquared in August 2023. Just a year later, Crocker Communications was acquired in October 2024 and joined AccessPlus.
With AccessPlus’s presence and fiber infrastructure in the Berkshires community for over 20 years, RingSquared has accelerated the expansion of its fiber network in the Northeast through partnering with local longstanding brands for a regionally based and prioritized business.

Crocker Communications has proudly served as the exclusive internet access provider for Block Island, Rhode Island, and supplies connectivity to many of Massachusetts’ educational districts and municipalities.

On June 25, 2024, the first fiber broadband customer went live on the new AccessPlus broadband service in downtown Pittsfield. This milestone was the first to mark AccessPlus’s commitment to meet the growing demand for faster, more dependable fiber internet services in the Berkshires.
